
to place localised fog in my scene, i made a material using the nodes and exponential height fog. i then applied it to a cube and placed it around the scene.





i found that placing the fog like this could help to guide the viewers eye around the scene and towards the main hero assets. it also added to the cold and mysterious atmosphere

followed this tutorial to understand the movie render queue in unreal engine 5
I had to change the render warm up count so that the boat would already be in the water by the time the image was rendered
